We recommend Martingale collars for Puppies training?
My breeder recommended type martingale collars for training my puppy, but I had a few questions: When can puppies start wearing martingale collars? Are they effective? I need a special leash to go with them? What your opinion of them than normal collars?
'S the only reason I'd recommend one for a pet is if you have a puppy of a breed that needs – Like a greyhound Greyhound, Whippet or Italian. Even a Dobe, Min Pin or Manchester Terrier. And even then, I only recommend those filled with thick webbing across the front. Something like this: http://pupperwear.com/CollarsANDLeads.htm Some have leashes attached, some are collar that you can attach any leash. Recommend get a good coach and talk to them about how to use a martingale. I would not like for you to go and buy one of those no-slip collars and have hurt my neck of the puppy, why do not you use it correctly or your puppy is too young. We will not magically train your puppy if the puppy is not trained or collar leash trained, you could do some serious damage. Collars are great for adults because they allow more direct control of a flat collar.
