german shepherd training tips German Shepherd Training Tips

I recently "inherited" from 7 month old German Shepherd puppy (male) and would like some suggestions?

He has already started training with its previous owner, but tends to jump and nip too. I know it's still a puppy, but I have a 4 years and would really like to get rid of these habits. I would like also some ideas on any game or puzzle that I can do for him so that it can be intellectually stimulated as well.

The trick is to stop nipping * screaming * OUCH! fast as you can, the moment you feel teeth on your skin. Your great sense of timing is crucial. This scare your puppy – and then you end up the game and leave the room. Dog learns, "Gee, if I bite or nip, all the fun! Ends" Remember that every person who interacts with your dog to do the same as any other know this tactic so as not to scare each other too badly.!) Stay away from your dog when he jumps. Shut up and listen to him (and watch the your peripheral vision) for him to offer another behavior, such as a sit. Reward sitting, care, etc. There is no need to knee him in the chest or Play him. Do not hit your dog. Be patient and kind and above all, be consistent. Your dog will learn without having to use bullying and "dominance" techniques.
