How can we stop our cat from peeing on the furniture?
We have a family room in front of our house, which is not used much. We had some cheap furniture in there that our two spoiled cats from peeing all over them. Once removed and mobile urination stopped. We bought furniture new this week, and put a cover (a sheet) on it, in the case, and have pee'd on it. The only other furniture in this room is a chest, two tables, and the cage. If the Dog Crate was causing them to deal, wouldnt have continued to pee even when there was no furniture in the room?
To Please, DO NOT slap the kitten as someone above me said. Cats do not learn this way … would not understand. If your cats fixed? When a cat is supposed to sterilize to help with the "spray" as it's called. E 'marking their territory. Fixing this usually helps. However … if they are already set, there may be some other underlying problem. How many cats do you have? The "rule" is you should have a litter for each cat, plus one. So … if you have two cats, you should have three litter boxes. We only have two cats and two litter boxes, but it works for us. So … I think the "plus one" is … more … I I do not know. But yes. Also, make sure the litter boxes are cleaned regularly. Cats have an incredible sense of smell … and may feel that you can not smell. If all this has already been done and tried, and I'm still pee … I would take them to the vet. Another thing could be wrong with them. I hope this useful. Good luck!
