If Potty Pads OK in this situation?
I have a dog, but some questions about House Training. As all my house is gone for the same 8 hours at the same time, I was thinking of buying a pen inside and keep food, water, toys and crate there. I was also planning to maintain potty pad inside the pen, but I heard that potty pad to do anything good for the dog, teaching them to go home. What else can I do? Please do not take offer someone to do it. Thanks These are good ideas, but I need time solutions in the winter, it's too cold to keep a dog out there now.
I think that the doors the dog are a good idea if your yard is closed. If not then why not use the pads? You can learn that the pads are ok, but the rest of the house is not ok. I do not know how to get to use the pads, but I know that dogs are able to learn the difference between the pad and say your kitchen floor. I know dogs do not like to go where they are enclosed, as in a crate. I know there are a lot of people who have your same dilemma. I'm going to do the same thing I'm going to work full time soon. I do not want hire someone to come to my house either. The enclosed area is the best thing I think.
