How can I stop my puppy Havanese from screaming so much?
Hello! We just brought home a 12-week old Havanese puppy Wednesday last year. He is absolutely wonderful and incredibly intelligent … has no mind his crate and sleeps 6-7 hours through the night without incident. It feels completely at home with us (my boyfriend and I) and is probably too attached to me since I'm home with him every day since he was here. The only problem is that when leave him in his box, he screams and cries so much. We'll leave it there in about 10-15 minutes at a time with us at home and we left for about 20 minutes from when we took it and left him in the pen and go back and hear it barking and howling from down the hall to the elevators! He came from a farm in Connecticut, the heart of New York, so the images and the sounds are definitely a huge adjustment for him, but he was really good with everything else except being left alone. Anyone have any ideas or tips? I'll be back to work on January 9 and I'm afraid to leave him.
HI I just got a pek and Maltese and I put them in front of the TV box and keeps them enough, or you may want to try the radio or to make a playmate. Lammy
