How do I make my pom pee on a pad?
I have a 10 week old Pomeranian and he is very intelligent. He knows that when it is rewarded potty outside. It 'really my fault for not being able to run outside and downstairs (I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex), fast enough to get him to use it in grass. I tried to take it when I see him taking the position of leaving a "hot gift", but when I put the pee pad has just I will not go down and more. What should I do? It would be my world so much cleaner and happier if I could teach to go potty on pads. What suggestions y'all have?
If you're comfortable with your dog defecate in the house, then use the pee pads. Understand them in a significant effect in the home of a dog and you are likely to have many more accidents around your home for a much longer time. Unfortunately, a part of owning a puppy means frequent trips outside. Part of owning a puppy and who live on the third floor: frequent trips down the stairs. The best thing is to try to get your puppy on a schedule. Take him outside every hour or so and above after you have eaten or played a lot. Food, water and activities to get the bowels working.
